How we started this organization
Our mission stems from a personal experience that our family went through. Our mom underwent brain surgery twice, due to a subdural hematoma, which is a collection of blood outside of the brain. Through this experience, we became immersed into the world of brain surgeries, and learned a lot about the subject. We are very grateful that our family was financially apt to handle this potentially fatal incident. However, many victims of this around the world are unable to receive treatment, due to the very high costs of it. For this reason, we created Skulls and Drills, to help others going through the same experience that our family did.
